The Directorate-General for Information Technologies and Cybersecurity (DG ITEC) delivers digitally advanced, secure, resilient, compliant and sustainable information and communications technology (ICT) services.
The Human Resources Unit’s (HR) mission is to provide comprehensive HR services to DG ITEC and its staff, ensuring professional and people-centric approach to HR management.
Your tasks
We are looking for an HR Trainee to join our HR Analytics and Processes Team. The role offers direct exposure to various HR operations, talent acquisition, analytics and reporting, and administrative support, just to mention a few key areas. You will work on live projects, gain hands-on experience and build strong foundation for a career in modern Human Resources. More precisely, you will assist with job postings, research of suitable profiles, maintaining HR databases, extracting data, participating to outreach events, managing functional mailbox and shared drives, drafting communications or small translations, collecting, summarising and transmitting information, etc.
The trainee can also be requested for help in other sectors of the Unit such as training or asset management or in the Staff Development and Services Team.
You are
You have obtained/will obtain a university degree (level 6 of EQF or higher) at least three months before the starting date of the traineeship.
We are looking for a committed and dynamic colleague, versatile and interested in wide range of HR matters, not afraid to try new things and assume responsibility for diverse files and projects. The advanced knowledge of MS Outlook and archiving technics would be an asset.
We offer direct guidance from Team Coordinator in the environment of constant professional growth, using contemporary HR software, platforms and data tools and building professional network throughout not only DG ITEC, but the whole European Parliament.
