Who we are
The Directorate-General for Information Technologies and Cybersecurity (DG ITEC) delivers digitally advanced, secure, resilient, compliant and sustainable information and communications technology (ICT) services for the European Parliament.
The IT Logistics unit manages IT equipment (laptops, tablets, phones, printers, videoconferencing devices, etc.) for more than 10000 users in the European Parliament. The Unified Printing service manages a fleet of around 600 multifunction printers in Brussels, Luxembourg and Strasbourg, and in 33 European Parliament Liaison Offices. The service also manages the A4 paper contract, ordering, and delivery. The total volume is around 22 million pages per year.
We are a close-knit and friendly team of 8 people (5 in Luxembourg, 2 in Brussels and 1 in Strasbourg). The team ensures printing, copying and scanning facilities, and optimises printing resources. The main challenge for 2027 is to upgrade and replace virtually all 600 multifunction printers. Another challenge is to optimise the paper management process. This involves working on various aspects: system integration, security, integration with ServiceNow, data sovereignty and project management.
