The Directorate-General for Information Technologies and Cybersecurity (DG ITEC) delivers digitally advanced, secure, resilient, compliant and sustainable information and communications technology (ICT) services.
The IT Governance and Enterprise Architecture Unit (ITGOV)'s mission is to provide direction, guidance and coordinate the overall IT governance, including governance bodies (internal and external). Data and AI governance. Coordination to ensure corporate sustainable decisions and technology/projects development. Support the Architecture & Standards Design Board. Enterprise architecture, business analysis, internal consultancy, sustainability and obsolescence programs. Quality Management and Methodologies. Coordination of ICT Systems Knowledge Management. Responsible for implementation of corporate actions such as Risk mitigation actions and Audit recommendations.
We are the team of specialists in the Enterprise Architecture and the Business Analysis, serving as trusted advisors to higher management. Our role is to bridge business and technology, ensuring strategic alignment, efficiency and innovation. We analyse and optimise architectures, systems and processes to drive informed decision-making and sustainable growth. Through our expertise, we help navigate complexity, mitigate risks and shape future of our organisation.
Your tasks
- Integrate with the team work organisation (Agile):
- sprint planning;
- review/retrospective;
- weekly team meetings.
- Learn essential elements of our domains (EA, BA):
- EA artefacts and standards;
- EA procedures and repository;
- BA IT planning process;
- BA methodology and conventions.
- Support selected initiatives related to EA domain:
- conceptual work on EA deliverables;
- develop EA repository;
- participate to EA Community of Practice meetings.
- Support Agile ITP procedure (ITP request review);
- Support communication activities of ENAR unit;
- Study relevant documentation and provide reports as requested.
You are
- You are higher education graduate of an at least 3 years study cycle;
- You are interested in IT technology, standards and methods;
- You have participated in a project (in the course of studies or outside);
- You are fluent in English language and you are able to process big amount of IT related texts;
- You are proficient in Ms Office tools, particularly in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams;
- You can communicate efficiently with native and non-native English speakers or (as an advantage) with French speakers.
