Who we are
The Directorate-General for Infrastructure and Logistics (DG INLO) is responsible for overseeing the European Parliament's vast infrastructure portfolio, which spans around 1.3 million square meters of building space across Europe. This includes a variety of tasks that are crucial to ensuring the smooth functioning and sustainability of the Parliament's operations. DG INLO's responsibilities go beyond just building management; it is also in charge of a range of essential services such as catering, mail distribution, furniture management, and transport for Parliament Members and staff. This comprehensive approach ensures that all physical and logistical needs are met, supporting the European Parliament’s political activities in a sustainable way.
In the context of the development of its activities, the Ushers and Movers Unit of DG INLO is looking for a person with a qualification in Logistics/Handling.
Your tasks
All tasks related to furniture movements (installation of offices and other equipment, temporary installation of furniture and various equipment for specific events within the European Parliament, specific tasks related to plenary sessions, logistical support for various events outside the usual framework.
You are
- Mover, handler, logistics graduate;
- Good physical condition is an asset;
- IT skills (management, monitoring, and planning tasks).
You have obtained/will obtain a university degree (level 6 of EQF or higher) at least three months before the starting date of the traineeship.
