  • To deliver high-quality multilingual communication services to the Members and administration of the European Parliament in text, audio and video formats, in a manner that is clear, inclusive and accessible to all citizens, including those with disabilities;
  • To ensure that all language services provided by DG TRAD are delivered efficiently and sustainably, integrating innovative technologies while upholding our professional standards to meet the evolving needs of the European Parliament.

Ready to jump into the action and make a real impact from day one?

Join our ServiceDesk team and become one of the friendly faces behind DG TRAD’s IT support. Your daily adventure? Helping colleagues get back on track, whether that means setting up and preparing laptops, organizing and distributing IT equipment, or stepping in to solve unexpected tech hiccups.

Your tasks

You will be right at the centre of things, answering questions, troubleshooting issues, and guiding users via email, phone, or in person. Every request is a new challenge, and you will be there to turn problems into solutions quickly, smoothly, and with a smile.

You will also keep things running like a well-oiled machine by logging and following up on requests in ServiceNow, making sure nothing gets lost and everything moves forward efficiently.

And the best part? This is your playground to learn and grow. You will get hands-on with the tools and applications used in a unique translation environment, discover how IT supports multilingual workflows, and build skills you won’t find just anywhere.

Along the way, you will meet people from across DG TRAD, collaborate, share ideas, and grow your network in an international environment.

We are here to support you, challenge you, and help you grow. The goal? For you to leave this Schuman Traineeship not just with experience but with confidence, skills, and great memories.
