Who we are

As the voice of citizens, the European Parliament stands for European democracy. The Directorate-General for Communication (DG COMM) amplifies its message of the Parliament to reach every corner of Europe. We help connect Members of Parliament (MEPs) to the people they represent, and we communicate what the Parliament is, what it does, and what it stands for. When Parliament speaks, we make sure it’s heard.

Your tasks

  • Event Logistics: Providing on-site logistical, technical and administrative support during the preparation and execution of European Parliament Liaison Office activities (including setup and event assistance);
  • Website Maintenance: Daily updates to the European Parliament Liaison Office website, including basic photo and video editing;
  • Social Media Content: Drafting posts for various platforms in close collaboration with the team;
  • Educational Outreach: Delivering presentations and briefings about the European Union and European Parliament for groups and visitors;
  • Public Correspondence: Handling and responding to incoming email inquiries;
  • Office Support: Assisting with daily administrative duties, report preparation, and database management.

 

You are

  • An excellent user of Slovak language;
  • Able to understand and write in other official language/languages of the EU, preferably English (B2);
  • Able to work in a team and perform tasks independently;
  • Able to respect priorities;
  • Responsible and professionally conscientious.

You have obtained/will obtain a university degree (level 6 of EQF or higher) at least three months before the starting date of the traineeship.
