Who we are
The Directorate-General for Logistics and Interpretation for Conferences (DG LINC) provides the linguistic, technical and logistical support for the organization of the parliamentary meetings and conferences of EP Members and bodies. By supplying state-of-the-art conference facilities, including high-quality interpretation services and conference organization we contribute to facilitating the legislative process as well as helping to underpin the democratic legitimacy of the Institution.

The Communications and Outreach Unit of DG LINC is a friendly and dynamic team. Our Unit is responsible for internal and external communication in the field of interpretation, technical and logistical conference services. Activities range from communication on the Intranet and on social media to awareness raising campaigns targeted at the next generation of interpreters and meetings professionals and organisation of events both online and on-site.
Your tasks
Your main tasks will consist of:
- Updating of the content on our intranet;
- Creating images and videos, helping create content for online and off-line communications and branding materials;
- Drafting articles, proofreading;
- Graphic design;
- Creating content for the social media channels of DG LINC: Instagram - LinkedIn;
- Be involved in the organisation of multilingual events and activities.

You are
Enthusiastic about the European Parliament and the values it represents. A team player who is eager to learn and share knowledge in a small, friendly and motivated team. You are creative, committed to a story-telling approach, have excellent communication skills, are deadline orientated and at ease in a multicultural environment. You take initiative and do not shy away from a challenge.
You have perfect command of English and/or French and you have obtained/will obtain a university degree (level 6 of EQF or higher) at least three months before the starting date of the traineeship. Specific knowledge of or experience with web content management systems is required. Knowledge of software like the Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop, Dreamweaver, InDesign, Premiere Pro), Canva and other video editing software will be considered an asset.
