Who we are
As the voice of citizens, the European Parliament stands for European democracy. The Directorate-General for Communication (DG COMM) amplifies its message of the Parliament to reach every corner of Europe. We help connect Members of Parliament (MEPs) to the people they represent, and we communicate what the Parliament is, what it does, and what it stands for. When Parliament speaks, we make sure it’s heard.
We are committed communication professionals coming from various professional and academic backgrounds.
The Multipliers Outreach Unit forms a core pillar of DG COMM’s in-house communication agency as represented by the Directorate for Outreach. Its purpose is to build, maintain and continuously engage with a network of multipliers to support the European Parliament’s communication on what Parliament does (budget, legislation and scrutiny), what it is (its role in EU decision making) and what it stands for (democracy and European values).
