We are the Programming Unit, and we make multilingualism work!

We strive to provide a high-quality interpretation service for all meetings at the European Parliament, whether in Brussels, Strasbourg or Luxembourg. We also provide interpretation for other European Institutions when needed.

On a day-to-day basis, our work includes creating interpreter teams and assigning them to a wide range of meetings, taking into account client needs, language requirements and quality standards. This makes our work dynamic, changing every day.

We collaborate constantly with other teams in the European Parliament, such as meeting requesters, recruiters and interpreters. Together, we ensure that speakers and participants can get their message across in all of the official EU languages.

In the Programming Unit, we are a very positive, enthusiastic and passionate multilingual team. We are keen problem-solvers who support each other as we manage a vast array of meetings with interpretation in the long- and short-term.
