Who we are
The Directorate-General for Infrastructure and Logistics (DG INLO) is responsible for overseeing the European Parliament's vast infrastructure portfolio, which spans around 1.3 million square meters of building space across Europe. This includes a variety of tasks that are crucial to ensuring the smooth functioning and sustainability of the Parliament's operations. DG INLO's responsibilities go beyond just building management; it is also in charge of a range of essential services such as catering, mail distribution, furniture management, and transport for Parliament Members and staff. This comprehensive approach ensures that all physical and logistical needs are met, supporting the European Parliament’s political activities in a sustainable way.
Within DG INLO, the Brussels Facilities Management Unit oversees the management and maintenance of facilities crucial for the activities of Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) and Parliament staff in Brussels.

Your tasks
Your tasks will be:
- Analysis of local regulatory changes impact in facility management in Brussels and support on the follow up of the legal watch;
- Preparation on the auditee part of environmental audits and support of the preparation of the services for both meetings and field verifications;
- Compiling information on aspects related with regulatory compliance;
- Follow up of energy performance indicators;
- Harmonizing reporting practices:
- Data verification and improvement.
You are
We are seeking a graduated engineer with experience in technical facilities management and/or environmental management systems. The ideal candidate should have proficiency in computer tools such as Excel and Word. Fluency in at least one of the two languages, English or French, and a fair knowledge of the other language is required.
The candidate should demonstrate motivation and enthusiasm for collaborating effectively with the institution, aiming to learn the workings of European Institutions. A proactive mindset, coupled with a willingness to contribute positively, is essential for success in this role.
