We work to provide complete and impartial information to citizens and media about the European Parliament and assist our Members in their communication activities.
The Directorate-General for Communication (DG COMM) strives to reach and engage the right audience with the right message at the right time and in doing so, deliver world-class communication. We are committed communication professionals coming from various professional and academic backgrounds.
The European Parliament's Office in Spain provides information on the role and powers of the European Parliament, on Spanish Members of the European Parliament and their activities, and on the issues currently being considered by the Parliament that are important for Spain and Europe as a whole.
The Financial Support Unit manages all financial files for the European Parliament Liaison Offices in all EU states and the Europa Experience visitors centers (more than 6.000 files per year) plus multiannual budget planning and statistics on visitors and events in the context of return on investment. We are a team of 13 people from 10 nationalities with plenty of hobbies like singing, hiking, skies, surfing and a lot more. Team spirit is a major strategy with the high work load we are facing.
Your tasks
You will be involved in the day-to-day business of the unit like development of new KPIs, data analysis, tender procedures and preparation of presentations for our trainings. Your work is mainly in EN but a fair knowledge of French and / or another EU language would help to integrate.
You are
We are looking for a Bachelor of Business Administration, Political Science or Public Administration. Some practical experience in statistics, working with visitors / students would be an asset.
