The European Parliament stands for European democracy. We help connect it to people.
We work to provide complete and impartial information to citizens and media about the European Parliament and assist our Members in their communication activities.
The Directorate-General for Communication (DG COMM) strives to reach and engage the right audience with the right message at the right time and in doing so, deliver world-class communication. We are committed communication professionals coming from various professional and academic backgrounds.
Your tasks
- Support activity for the publication of texts for social media: drafting, editing and publishing content for social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) posts;
- Support activity to ensure visibility of the EPLO;
- Research and drafting notes, in particular preparing documents on EP legislative texts, translations, speeches;
- Support in the organisation of events.
You are
You have:
- A perfect command of Italian (native-speaker equivalent - C2 level);
- A very good command of English and another EU language;
- Done studies in Media and Communication preferably with working experience;
- An in-depth knowledge of the political situation in the EU and in Italy: ability to write reports;
- Experience in the media sector – press.
You are:
- A good team player;
- Interested in participating in external activities/events.
