We work to provide complete and impartial information to citizens and media about the European Parliament and assist our Members in their communication activities.

The Directorate-General for Communication (DG COMM) strives to reach and engage the right audience with the right message at the right time and in doing so, deliver world-class communication. We are committed communication professionals coming from various professional and academic backgrounds.

 

Your tasks

  • Support activity related to the publication of texts for social media: production, cutting, editing videos and reels, translating and drafting, editing and publishing content for social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) posts;
  • Support activity to ensure visibility of the EPLO during events organised by EPLO: networking activities;
  • Creation of Power Point or Canva presentations related to the EPLO’s project, activities or events;
  • Research and drafting notes, in particular preparing documents on EP legislative texts, translations, speeches;
  • Support in the organisation and scheduling of events.

 

You are

  • Passionate about social media and creativity;
  • Curious about what is online and is becoming trendy among young audiences;
  • Creative, able and available to prepare ready to use content/Reels according to last trends on social media in coordination with the team;
  • You have a perfect command of Italian (native-speaker equivalent - C2 level);
  • You have a very good command of English and another EU language;
  • You have done studies or Experience in the field of social media communication;
  • Knowledgeable of the EU institutional context and political situation in the EU and in Italy: ability to write reports;
  • Previous experience in social media management and good command of social media reporting tools would be an added value;
  • You possess Canva basic knowledge (necessary);
  • A Good team player;
  • Interested in participating in external activities/events.
