Who we are
The Directorate-General for Information Technologies and Cybersecurity delivers digitally advanced, secure, resilient, compliant and sustainable information and communications technology (ICT) services.
Portfolio Management and Compliance Unit (PMCO)'s mission is the management and oversight of the IT projects and IT assets portfolio, including transformation programmes (e.g. sustainability programme), business solutions delivery projects (customer-driven through the demand management process) and technical infrastructure projects (driven by technological changes and managed centrally). Provide legal advice on the applicable EU regulations for IT business (cybersecurity. AI, data protection, digital accessibility, interoperability).
Your tasks
- Participate in internal meetings (AITP: reconciliation, bilateral and other working meetings);
- Collaborate with team members: provide information and support related to your tasks, exchange experience, socialize;
- Help improve and shape running processes for our Department;
- Review documentation of our Project Management method guides and templates;
- Update data in our PPM tool and other communication channels (MS TEAMS, SharePoint etc.);
- Take part in a project of our Department;
- Train yourself in our methodologies and become ENGAGE certified PM;
- Help complete the roll out to the new PPM tool (Service Now SPM).
You are
- You are an IT or related domain graduate of an at least 3-year-study cycle;
- You are interested in the existing IT technologies and standards;
- You have participated in a full project (even during the course of your studies);
- You master Office suite tools (browsing, emailing, word processing, presentation, spreadsheets, but also can work with AI existing tools and utilities);
- You master English (preferably) or French (both will be an advantage) at an adequate level to cope with large amounts of text;
- You communicate efficiently with native or non-native English or French speakers;
- You would like to work in a multi-cultural environment at the heart of the European Union within the Parliament administration.
