Members’ Digital Experience Unit - Customised Support and Emerging Needs

The Directorate-General for Information Technologies and Cybersecurity (DG ITEC) delivers digitally advanced, secure, resilient, compliant and sustainable information and communications technology (ICT) services.

Members' Digital Experience Unit (E-MEP)’s mission is the IT Support for MEPs & their offices: Single point of contact, offering dedicated and proximity support for Members and their offices including the private office of the President.

Under supervision of the "maître de stage", the trainee will be involved on the different services that our unit provides, with an emphasis on those related to customised support to Members and Assistants, and more specifically in the field of technical support for Social Media, audio and video creation: bespoke consultancies, short term loan of audiovisual equipment, and REC Room reservations.

• The creation and editing of audiovisual training materials, videotutorials and user guides;
• The documentation of services and processes, including review of technical documents.

Depending on the unit's workload and previous experience of the selected candidate, the tasks will be adjusted taking into account the above mentioned topics.

• Graduated in the fields of Information Technologies, audiovisual or multimedia communication, information management, Information Science, Digital Marketing, or other field relevant to the duties and tasks, user oriented, creative, great communicator and with attention to detail;
• Mastery of both camera operation and video editing, colour grading, sound editing, adjusting lighting to fine-tuning camera settings;
• Good at communicating complex technical issues to non-technical audiences;
• Written and spoken fluency in English is a requirement, good knowledge of French would be an asset.
