Hosting and Continuous Improvement Unit

The Directorate-General for Information Technologies and Cybersecurity (DG ITEC) delivers digitally advanced, secure, resilient, compliant and sustainable information and communications technology (ICT) services.

The Hosting and Continuous Improvement Unit (HOSTING)’s mission are to make the operations environment transparent for the users by providing hosting services, deploying, operating, optimising and managing the lifecycle of applications in production, as well as offering project management services, architecture, maintenance and operation of the EP voting infrastructure and to identify and implement process improvements across the Directorate. The unit is in charge of operating and running applications in production, deploying applications and systems on-premises and in the Cloud, running custom built applications, conducting load, and non-regression tests. 

• The trainee will learn how to apply Artificial Intelligence solutions to improve our monitoring capabilities for EP applications;
• He or she will analyse LLM solutions already implemented or which could be implemented on EP premises;
• The final objective will be the integration of these AI solutions with EP internal monitoring solution.

You should:

• Have adequate training, and a demonstrated interest to develop your competences in a challenging but extremely interesting area;
• Have a high commitment to assuring quality and accuracy as well as the capacity to perform duties independently and in a flexible way;
• Have an excellent team spirit. A capacity to analyse and structure information and a clear orientation to results are essential;
• Have an excellent command of English.
