Who we are

The Directorate-General for Information Technologies and Cybersecurity (DG ITEC) delivers digitally advanced, secure, resilient, compliant and sustainable information and communications technology (ICT) services.

The Publishing Support and Visual Projects Unit (PUBLISHING) has as mission to support Members, Political Groups and the Secretariat General in the area of design, visuals and print. The PUBLISHING Unit is looking to fill an internship within our design team. 

 

Your tasks

Assisting our graphic designers, the successful candidate will be given the opportunity to:

  • Design and develop print and digital content in line with the EP graphical guidelines;
  • Manage and liaise with clients in order to clarify briefs, follow up on projects, provide advice and inform clients of graphic rules;
  • Support the unit's transition to digital publishing, with special regard to accessibility;
  • Gain experience working in a team of graphic design experts. 

 

You are

The successful candidate should have advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (at least InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), good communication skills, interest in new technology and the desire to constantly learn and improve. Knowledge of accessibility and front-end development (HTML, CSS) is considered a plus.
