It provides independent, specialised, objective, high-quality and up-to-date information in matters relating to the development of a common policy for rail, road, inland waterway, maritime and air transport, postal services and tourism. In this context it also covers matters, such as the development of smart and sustainable mobility, as well as some more specific topics such as the future of the aviation sector, the prospects for combined transports, and the attainment of the TEN-T objectives.
