This entails providing complete and impartial information to citizens and media about the European Parliament, and assisting Members in their communication activities.

The Directorate-General for Communication (DG COMM) strives to reach and engage the right audience with the right message at the right time and in doing so, deliver world-class communication. We are committed communication professionals coming from various professional and academic backgrounds.

The European Parliament Liaison Office (EPLO) in Wrocław is one of five regional offices that the Parliament has in its most populous member states.

EPLO Wroclaw is responsible for the local distribution of the European Parliament's communications and organisation of the events such as Europe Day in order to raise citizens' awareness of how the European Parliament affects their daily lives and to promote their involvement in the European democratic process. 

 

Your tasks

  • Support in the preparation and organization of events of European Parliament Liaison Office in Wrocław;
  • Managing the Office's social media, updating the website content;
  • Preparing materials for the website and social media of European Parliament Liaison Office;
  • Translation of documents;
  • Database administration;
  • Preparation of draft reports;
  • Assistance in the preparation of tender documentation;
  • Conducting research on selected topics;
  • Preparing presentations;
  • Creating newsletters and mailing to stakeholders of the Office;
  • Contacting partners and stakeholders regarding cooperation with the Office;
  • Answering citizens' inquiries;
  • Supporting in administrative tasks (sending letters, assistance with inventory).

 

You are

We are looking for a committed European willing to support the European Parliament Liaison Office in Wrocław (Poland) in its daily communication activities.

From the candidates we are expecting:

  • An excellent knowledge of Polish and English;
  • Proficiency in managing social media tools;
  • Very good writing skills;
  • Any journalistic skills such as drafting and writing ability would be an asset.
