Who we are
The Directorate General for Security and Safety (DG SAFE) ensures safety and security of the persons, buildings and assets within the European Parliament’s premises. In addition, it commits to provide high quality security services by developing modern working methods, digitalised processes and using state-of-the-art technologies and equipment.
The Training Unit of DG SAFE is responsible for identifying, assessing, updating and rolling out the staff professional development programme for the Directorate-General's staff to enhance knowledge and skills, in close cooperation with the Human Resources, Budget and Training units.
Your tasks
You will provide support within the team in charge of training. This will involve contributing to the creation of tailor-made courses both onsite and online, according to staff needs, quantitative and qualitative data analysis results, knowledge control monitoring of staff, and systematic communication with the trainers.
You are
- With training and/or experience in adult learning, psychology, digital communication or in the security field, the successful candidate will have an interest in training;
- Working as part of a team, discretion and respect for confidentiality are essential qualities;
- Meticulous and with very good writing skills, the chosen candidate will be familiar with administrative tasks as well as being a good communicator and having a good knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
- In order to assist in creation of different training materials, experience with video production, digital communication or vlogging would be an asset;
- The candidate will have a good command of French and/or English.
