Who we are
The Directorate-General for Innovation and Technological Support (DG ITEC) provides the European Parliament with information and communication technology services as well as printing and distribution services.
The Artificial Intelligence, Intranets and Innovative Digital Solutions Unit in DG ITEC has the mission of promoting an innovation culture, building digital solutions and adapting its editorial capabilities to continuously evolve and meet the changing needs of users. During the last years, the innovation's activities of the unit have focused on Artificial Intelligence in order to support and augment the work of the Members and staff of the European Parliament.
Your tasks
The trainee's tasks involve gathering and preparing data, assisting in developing and evaluating machine learning and generative models, and conducting research to stay updated with the latest AI techniques. He/she will write and debug code, maintain detailed documentation, and prepare reports to communicate findings. The trainee will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions and assist in developing and testing prototypes, gaining practical skills and insights into AI project operations.
You are
- Education in Computer Science, Data Science or Artificial Intelligence;
- Demonstrable experience on Data Science platforms, such as Kaggle;
- Basic Knowledge of DevOPS tools such as GitHub;
- Previous working experience is considered a plus.
