Who we are

The Directorate-General for Infrastructure and Logistics (DG INLO) contributes to the effective technical and administrative management of infrastructure and logistics (catering, removals, furniture, transport, etc.) within and between the Parliament's workplaces. Our DG is also responsible for managing the equipment and services necessary for the functionality of these buildings. Through their efforts, the staff of DG INLO provides essential support for the European Parliament's political activities.

Within DG INLO, the objective of the Information Technology and IT Support Unit is to offer the operational services an IT infrastructure that combines innovation and security.

 

Your tasks

In the context of the development of its activities, the Information Technology and IT Support Unit is looking for a person to help the work of the information security officer of DG INLO.  

Key tasks include assisting in cybersecurity-related activities such as monitoring security alerts, vulnerability assessments, security audits and reviews, security awareness raising activities, risk assessment and implementation of security policies and procedures. Tracking the outcome of the reviews and implementing action plans to address any identified vulnerabilities are also among the responsibilities.

You will learn cybersecurity in the context of building management systems. This role offers an opportunity to dive deep into the integration of smart technologies.
and gain insight into the security challenges a large international organization faces in our current sensitive context.

Furthermore, the role involves compiling and maintaining a comprehensive asset inventory using SharePoint and gathering information from a diverse group of stakeholders within DG INLO.

 

You are

  • You possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in IT and with a focus on network, IoT and security. You have experience using SharePoint and very good communication and organization skills;
  • You are adept at collaborating with a cross-functional team to ensure the highest security standards are met;
  • You are a proactive problem-solver and are able to stay updated with the latest industry trends.
