Who we are

The Directorate-General for Infrastructure and Logistics (DG INLO) contributes to the effective technical and administrative management of infrastructure and logistics (catering, removals, furniture, transport, etc.) within and between the Parliament's workplaces. Our DG is also responsible for managing the equipment and services necessary for the functionality of these buildings. Through their efforts, the staff of DG INLO provides essential support for the European Parliament's political activities.

Within the Directorate-General for Infrastructure and Logistics, the Brussels Facility Management Unit is in charge of guaranteeing a high level of service in providing the facilities required for the activities of MEPs and Parliament staff in Brussels.One of the Unit`s team, the CLient Interface & Quality Control (CLiQC) has been created to facilitate and improve the contacts with clients and to control the quality of work of the numerous contractorsAllowing a direct contact and feedback between users and maintenance services, the CLiQC team aims at fostering effective communication. This team works closely with the Buildings Help Desk (BHD).

 

Your tasks

The trainee will be requested to support the CLiQC team in quality control of maintenance work, by:

  • Analyzing and controlling the quality of the work carried out by the contractors and ensuring the customer interface on the site of the European Parliament in Brussels, in relation to contractual activities and intervention requests from the Buildings Helpdesk;
  • Visiting applicants and ensuring that they are satisfied;
  • Controlling the presence of service providers in the field.

 

You are

  • Solid knowledge of Excel;
  • Good analytical and data processing skills;
  • Good face-to-face communication skills;
  • Ability to work in a team;
  • Can adapt to various working environments;
  • Minimum language levels: C1 in French and B1 in English.
