Who we are

The Directorate-General for Infrastructure and Logistics (DG INLO) contributes to the effective technical and administrative management of infrastructure and logistics (catering, removals, furniture, transport, etc.) within and between the Parliament's workplaces. Our DG is also responsible for managing the equipment and services necessary for the functionality of these buildings. Through their efforts, the staff of DG INLO provides essential support for the European Parliament's political activities.

Within the Directorate General's activities, the objectives of the Drivers' Unit are to provide excellent transport service to Members of Parliament and an inter-site shuttle service for all staff, while respecting the administrative and budgetary constraints as well as qualitative and environmental criteria.

 

Your tasks

The unit includes over 100 professional drivers, who provide a transport service to Members and other authorities of the European Parliament. The unit is engaged in a review of its internal processes and of its working tools. In this context, the trainee will contribute to the reflection and implementation of the conclusions. He/she may also contribute to administrative tasks as part of the unit's mission. We will discuss your specific tasks with you and work together to achieve them.

 

You are

You preferably have a background and interest in management and/or administration and a very good knowledge of English and/or French. You are motivated to integrate into a very big team and contribute to its various activities. You are interested in finding out more about how the administration of the European Parliament works.
