Who we are

The Directorate-General for Infrastructure and Logistics (DG INLO) contributes to the effective technical and administrative management of infrastructure and logistics (catering, mail, removals, furniture, transport, etc.) within and between the Parliament's workplaces. Our DG is also responsible for managing the equipment and services necessary for the functionality of these buildings. Through their efforts, the staff of DG INLO provides essential support for the European Parliament's political activities.

In the context of the development of its activities, the Unit Upkeep Works of DG INLO is looking for a person with a qualification in all Building services installations. The installations concerned are heating, ventilation, cooling (HVAC) systems as well as electrical installations.

 

Your tasks

The administrator responsible for the Special Techniques group will be supervising the selected candidate directly, ensuring that the traineeship period is productive and efficient for both the trainee and the Unit. 

 

You are

The selected candidate will be working with the Special Techniques group and will be directly involved in projects. The nature of the projects are technical interventions in various installation and/or works related to refurbishments. His/her responsibilities will be managing the contractor, attending regular coordination meetings, supervising the works on site and ensuring the timely completion of the works. His/her technical expertise is essential for the assessment of the technical solutions proposed by the contractor and the qualitative monitoring of the works during construction. Critical thinking and team spirit are key assets.
