Who we are

Our mission is to enable the European Parliament to achieve its political objectives by providing linguistic, technical and logistical support to meetings and conferences. Our services support the democratic legitimacy of the Institution by helping the Members of Parliament get their message across in any of the official languages. We thus enable the legislative process and make it accessible to the citizens of Europe. This makes DG LINC a very dynamic, collaborative, and unique place of work, with opportunities for connecting with different actors across the Parliament. If you like challenges and are customer-minded then DG LINC could be a great place for you to do a traineeship.

It is a friendly and diverse team of 67 colleagues working in the political and multicultural environment. The Conference Ushers Unit has a recognisable image and is renowned for its professionalism. The Unit is very highly regarded within the Parliament, thanks to its experience, teamwork, service culture and solution-oriented approach.
