Who we are

The Directorate-General for Logistics and Interpretation for Conferences (DG LINC) is the multilingual conference service hub of the European Parliament. Our mission is to enable the European Parliament to achieve its political objectives by providing linguistic, technical and logistical support to meetings and conferences. Our services support the democratic legitimacy of the Institution by helping the Members of Parliament get their message across in any of the official languages. We thus enable the legislative process and make it accessible to the citizens of Europe. This makes DG LINC a very dynamic, collaborative, and unique place of work, with opportunities for connecting with different actors across the Parliament. If you like challenges and are customer-minded then DG LINC could be a great place for you to do a traineeship.

The Conference Coordination Unit (CCU) of the Directorate General for Logistics and Interpretation for Conferences (DG LINC) is responsible for the coordination of organisational, technical and logistical support to conferences and other events organised in Parliament’s premises, for exhibitions organised by Members of the European Parliament in Parliament’s premises, and for political groups’ meetings held outside the workplaces of the institution. The unit facilitates and structures transversal coordination between the organisers and the service providers, acting as a single point of contact.
