Who we are

The Directorate-General for Logistics and Interpretation for Conferences (DG LINC) is the multilingual conference service hub of the European Parliament. Our mission is to enable the European Parliament to achieve its political objectives by providing linguistic, technical and logistical support to meetings and conferences. Our services support the democratic legitimacy of the Institution by helping the Members of Parliament get their message across in any of the official languages. We thus enable the legislative process and make it accessible to the citizens of Europe. This makes DG LINC a very dynamic, collaborative, and unique place of work, with opportunities for connecting with different actors across the Parliament. If you like challenges and are customer-minded then DG LINC could be a great place for you to do a traineeship.

The Multilingual Solutions Unit is responsible for ensuring the provision of interpretation and technical interpretation support to the missions of the Delegations and Parliamentary Committees outside of the three working places. The Unit is also responsible for organising interpretation for the President’s bilateral and high-level meetings and for Members of the European Parliament who ask for Interpretation Ad Personam. It is also responsible for all requests for sign language interpretation and the provision of remote external interpretation for non-core meetings.

The unit is very dynamic with a friendly team operating in a multicultural environment.
