Who we are

The Directorate-General for Infrastructure and Logistics (DG INLO) contributes to the effective technical and administrative management of infrastructure and logistics (catering, mail, removals, furniture, transport, etc.) within and between the Parliament's workplaces. Our DG is also responsible for managing the equipment and services necessary for the functionality of these buildings.

Through their efforts, the staff of DG INLO provides essential support for the European Parliament's political activities, including via its Catering and Staff Shop Unit that manages catering outlets (self-service restaurant, bars and restaurants) in the three places of work.

 

Your tasks

The recruited candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the following tasks:

  • Support the team in the operational management of the various catering contracts, including sustainability;
  • Support the team in compliance monitoring (including hygiene and allergens);
  • Collaborate with event management, transparency rules and protocol;
  • Collect and analyse data, prepare reports and presentations;
  • Participate in continuous "client satisfaction" improvement projects and consumer habits.

 

You are

The recruited candidate should have:

  • A good command of French, as this is the main language used in contract management, as well as a good level of English;
  • Interest in food, food trends, sustainability as well as contract management and/or procurement, or a desire to learn about it;
  • Good writing and communication skills;
  • Team spirit, motivation to learn.
