Who we are
As the voice of citizens, the European Parliament stands for European democracy. Directorate-General for Communication (DG COMM) amplifies its message of the Parliament to reach every corner of Europe. We help connect Members of Parliament to the people they represent, and we communicate what the Parliament is, what it does, and what it stands for. When Parliament speaks, we make sure it’s heard.
We are committed communication professionals coming from various professional and academic backgrounds.
Your tasks
Assisting for briefings, notes, presentations, surveys, data comparison and statistics on the communication actions during the year like Europe Day, International Women's Day, Sakharov Price or the European Parliament's Ambassadors schools and the Europa Experience premises (monitoring and evaluation of visitors data).
You are
- A fully-fledged Bachelor in Political Communication, Public Administration, Economics or similar with some practical experience in public administration and procurement and a flavor for data analysis best with some period abroad from your home country;
- You are open to working on many different files and make our lives more colorful with your visualization skills;
- All this is topped by a good-humored team and a trip to Strasbourg to witness the plenary session of the EP (subject to budget availability);
- We match if you have a grasp for Excel and other IT tools to retrieve data;
- You have obtained/will obtain a university degree (level 6 of EQF or higher) at least three months before the starting date of the traineeship.
