Who we are

As the voice of citizens, the European Parliament stands for European democracy. Directorate-General for Communication (DG COMM) amplifies its message of the Parliament to reach every corner of Europe. We help connect Members of Parliament to the people they represent, and we communicate what the Parliament is, what it does, and what it stands for. When Parliament speaks, we make sure it’s heard.

We are committed communication professionals coming from various professional and academic backgrounds.

The Jean Monnet House (JMH) is a site of European memory and of public conversation on our continent's future. Exhibitions, displays, events and other activities intend to cast a light on the challenges of the future by underscoring the importance of the legacy of or Jean Monnet, the Father of Europe. The JMH service is in charge of the site's historic house and park, and works in close association with other European Parliament services on the site, notably the Jean Monnet Academy run by the Directorate-General for Personnel and the accommodation infrastructure run by the Directorate-General for Infrastructures and Logistics. To know more about the Jean Monnet House and its activities, check the website: https://jean-monnet.europa.eu/home_fr .

The Jean Monnet House service is part of the House of European History (HEH) unit, which aims to become the leading museum about the transnational phenomena that have shaped our continent. Read more of the House of European History on: https://historia.europa.eu/en.
