Who we are

The Directorate-General for Infrastructure and Logistics (DG INLO) contributes to the effective technical and administrative management of infrastructure and logistics (catering, removals, furniture, transport, etc.) within and between the Parliament's workplaces. Our DG is also responsible for managing the equipment and services necessary for the functionality of these buildings. Through their efforts, the staff of DG INLO provides essential support for the European Parliament's political activities.

Within the Directorate for Sustainable Buildings and Facilities in Brussels, the “Procurement, Contracts & Legal Support” Service is responsible for specific files.

 

Your tasks

The trainee will be responsible for carrying out, under the coordination of the Head of Service, the following tasks:

  • Providing legal advice in the field of public procurement, interpretation of Regulation (EU, Euratom) No. 2018/1046 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 July 2018 on the financial rules applicable to the general budget of the European Union;
  • Handling legal files in the building sector;
  • Participation in negotiation meetings;
  • Ensuring the drafting quality of the contracts, amendments, internal notes and external correspondence, from a legal point of view;
  • Monitoring developments in case law related to public procurement and real estate.

 

You are

  • University degree in law;
  • Experience in the field of public procurement is an advantage;
  • Adaptability, team spirit and cooperation, oriented to results;
