Who we are

The Directorate-General for Infrastructure and Logistics (DG INLO) contributes to the effective technical and administrative management of infrastructure and logistics (catering, removals, furniture, transport, etc.) within and between the Parliament's workplaces. Our DG is also responsible for managing the equipment and services necessary for the functionality of these buildings. Through their efforts, the staff of DG INLO provides essential support for the European Parliament's political activities.

Within DG INLO, the Architectural Identity Unit’s mission is to ensure the architectural consolidation of the Institution building legacy in the three places of work. The unit is responsible for architectural style to remain coordinated and Members’ offices and furniture to be of the institutionally adequate level required. To facilitate the implementation of a coherent architectural identity in all three places of work, the unit acts as single contact point, centralizing all requests regarding interventions with a potential aesthetical impact to Parliament’s premises and proposing guidelines and recommendations as regards the style for future projects. In addition, a portfolio with the main characteristics and architectural definition of the existing building stock, using all available documentation and digital models, and proposing guidelines for future projects will be created.
